The Belly Shots, Completed

Obviously, I can't take credit for the idea.  Like all my good ideas, I stole it from Pinterest.  I will, however, take credit for bribing my 2-year-old with M&M's to pose for me.  Look at that belly grow!

Ok, I'm totally partial to just how cute this baby is because, well, she's mine.  I took advantage of the fact that I had a sleepy baby in my house and had my camera charged and ready for quick photo opps.  It was pretty helpful that my cute firefighter husband also had his turnouts handy for those last shots :)

Ava's Baby Shower

I'm sure that I'm not the only girl with a camera addicted to Pinterest.  So it was a no-brainer when my mom, sisters and I started planning my baby shower for our little girl on the way that we scoured Pinterest for months.  We found some really fun ideas that I just wanted to show off here :).  I'm so excited to have a baby girl on the way and this is one way we were able to go crazy with girly stuff.

After a Pinterest-fail with tissue pom-poms, we went with the Martha Stewart paper lanterns.  Just as cute and way easier!

Our full dessert table.  We had lemon cupcakes, fresh fruit, macaroons, and mini cupcakes as favors in cute to-go boxes.

These are the lemon cupcakes!  So yummy!

I'm decorating Ava's room with a bird theme.  We incorporated the bird cages that I have saved for her room into the shower decor.

We had to include the pics of my growing belly :)

I also had to include the pics from my Maternity Session with Carrie Johnson Photography.

The drink table:  Lemonade, Cucumber Water and Ice Tea.

This was our Welcome Table.  We included envelopes where guests could fill out their mailing addresses for their Thank You notes and a small note card where they were able to fill out their Wishes for Baby Ava (these totally made me cry!).  We also had to throw in a Maternity Session pic and a pic from Ava's 3d Ultrasound.
